Best Kept Allotment Competition (part of Mid and East Antrim in Bloom)

Best Kept Allotment Winner Alan Rice 2016The judging takes place during July and all allotment holders are automatically entered. What the judges are looking for:

Best Kept Allotment Competition Judging Criteria environment sustainability;
Best Kept Allotment Competition Judging Criteria the variety & quality of the crop;
Best Kept Allotment Competition Judging Criteria the control of weeds & rubbish;
Best Kept Allotment Competition Judging Criteria the use of compost;
Best Kept Allotment Competition Judging Criteria general appearance;
Best Kept Allotment Competition Judging Criteria creativity of each plot.

The prizes will be: 1st Prize of £60.00 Gift Voucher & plus two Runner-Up Prizes of: £35.00 Gift Voucher. The Best Kept Allotment is open to all allotments managed by Mid and East Antrim Borough Council. The award ceremony will take place at the October Mid and East Antrim in Bloom Prize Giving lunch.
